Mark Kunkel, MS, Principal
Mr. Kunkel has experience from 3 person startups to >500 employee public companies. He has supported and developed small operations through multiple investment rounds, including an IPO, and has broad experience in technology development and project management. As a bench scientist, product manager and director, he has developed unique technology products and has worked both nationally and internationally with sales and service representatives, customers and product distributors. Mr. Kunkel is efficient in general operations while providing technical depth in product development, project planning, budgeting and resource management.
Craig Gelfand, PhD, Senior Consultant
Dr. Gelfand is a classically trained physical biochemist who has applied his deep and broad technical background to a variety of science topics for over 30 years. A self-described science and technology guru, he has a proven track-record of self-education on new topics, defining technology gaps and new products and developing plans to turn those ideas into actual products. With both start-up and Fortune 500 company experience, product development from basic research tools through clinical diagnostics, and in varying management roles from Principal Scientist to Director of R&D, Dr. Gelfand has significant commercial experience. He has worked closely and collaboratively with customers, scientists, engineers, sales, marketing staff, technical and manufacturing engineering, finance and executive management throughout his career.
